Safety and Support

Bath House Family Assessment Center is based in Rhyl, North Wales.


Typically placements are twelve weeks in length, however can be extended.


We are able to support local authorities with short term placements whilst awaiting court dates or  discharge from hospital

 We provide 1:1 support at all times for our parents for as long as they need, with regular reviews, ensuring our parents and children have the appropriate level of support throughout their stay. Bath House also has CCTV with Audio in all rooms and communal areas, giving our families the highest level of security and support. Family Workers accompany and support our families to all appointments and within the wider community.

Supervised Contact

 Bath House is a Family Residential Assessment Center for parents, their children and expectant mothers. Bath House actively promotes positive parenting and works with parents to explore and identify areas for improvement. 

The center has qualified  practitioners able to deliver a range of bespoke interventions to includes PAM's, Family Futures, Incredible Years, STARS, Baby Massage, and independent living skills.  

Skilled and experienced Social Workers complete robust and evidence based parenting assessments.

Bath House has on-site facilities to enable supervised and  unsupervised contact between child/ren and their parents or wider family members. The contact room is equipped with CCTV/audio and we are able to provide experienced in-house supervisors and reports at the request of the referring agency.

Bath House is managed by a team of dedicated and qualified Social Workers and Support Staff whose objective is to ensure parents and their children are the focal point of daily planning. Our team work to inspire and motivate parents to achieve positive change.

All referrals received are considered in terms of the level of risk and individual need. High risk referrals will require additional information.

 A bespoke service offering Parents and their child/ren a move on pathway, providing an enhanced level of support, ensuring the continuation of the progress of parents independent living skills, domesticity and routines . Our objective is to improve and develop the confidence, abilities and potential of our residents in order for them to manage the demands and enjoy the benefits of independent living
