What We Do
We actively promote positive parenting, and work with parents to explore and identify areas for improvement.
The centres have qualified practitioners able to deliver a range of bespoke interventions, adapted to the needs and ability of the individual. See our brochure for details of the in-house interventions provided as standard to all families, covering not only general parenting skills but courses on healthy relationships, domestic abuse (perpetrator and victims), sexual exploitation, the effects of domestic abuse on children, Positive Parenting, the Nurturing Program and the Incredible Years Program. We will soon also be offering In-house theraputic interventions.
Our five skilled and experienced Social Workers complete robust and evidence based parenting assessments, with three able to complete Parent Assess Assessments. We also have trusted ISW's to ensure the perfect match between Assessing Social Worker and parents, producing reports at the mid point and end of the assessment period which are of the highest quality.
Bath House
Opened in 2019, after working with over 50 families Bath House has recently under gone a full refurbishment.
After collaboration with Local Authorities across England and Wales we have re-opened Bath House with a focus on assessments for couples and their children.
This modern, light and spacious property has be designed with this in mind, offering families a comfortable and nurturing environment whilst they undergo assessments over 12weeks.
Elwy House
Following on from the success of Bath House, Elwy House opened her doors in 2022, welcoming up to four families at a time.
Formally a hotel, Elwy House was converted and rennovated to provide four en-suite bedrooms, two kitchens two lounges and wonderful enclosed rear garden, in addition to our therapy suite and intervention space.
Just like Bath House, Elwy is walking distance from a bustling town centre, beautiful beaches, lakes and green spaces.
Community Properties
A bespoke service offering a uniquely individualised service!
Supported by the teams at Bath & Elwy House these properties have a number of possible services;
- Continued supported living for families after assessment
- Supported living for expectant parents before entering one of the centers
- A place of Safety for families
- Community Parenting Assessments with full access to our Interventions and teaching programs
- Short term supported housing
- Contact Center
Criteria for Admission
All referrals received are considered in terms of the level of risk and individual need. High risk referrals will require additional information.
We have worked with families with many issues, such as Domestic Abuse, Substance Mis-use, Non-Accidental Injury, Sexual Abuse, Learning Disabilities, Neglect, Adverse Childhood Experiences, Parents under 16, Fabricated Illness, FGM.
