Bath House is located in central Rhyl on the North Wales coast. We are a five minute walk from train and bus stations and a short walk to the promenade, beaches and town centre.
Bath House has four family rooms with two large shared bathroom and communal areas to include a kitchen residents lounge, meeting and contact room.
At Bath House we supply most equipment for your baby. You must bring your own and baby's clothing, toiletries, nappies and pram. We also encourage you to bring photos and other personal items to decorate the room and make it your own.
Placements usually last for twelve weeks although these can sometimes be longer. Your Social Worker and Key Worker at Bath House will discuss this with you.
If your visitors have been approved by the referring agency, they will be welcome to visit the centre after booking this with your key worker. Any unauthorised visitors will be refused entry as it is important that we keep everyone at Bath House safe.
To keep all of our families safe we have CCTV and/or audio systems in all bedrooms and communal areas.
Your privacy is always respected where possible, for example, CCTV images of parents sleeping area will be blocked, however, children must be kept in full view of CCTV cameras at all times.
Whilst staying at Bath House families must pay to use the laundry facilities. A charge of £1 will apply per load. This includes washing powder, fabric softener and use of the tumble dryer.
Families are asked to attend the daily breakfast club during which we provide free breakfast items such as toast and cereals. There is an expectation that residents will pay for all other food, personal items and travel costs.
If you need to attend court or other professional meetings staff will facilitate travel and accompany the parent, staff will be available to care for your child whilst you attend all meetings or court hearing.
