Bath House & Elwy House are located on the North Wales coast. Each property is in an area with close links to train and bus stations and a short distance from, beaches and town centre.
Yes, there will be up to three other adults living alongside you, but never fear our centres are spacious and there is plenty of room for everyone.
We supply most equipment for your baby. You must bring your own and baby's clothing, toiletries, nappies and pram. We also encourage you to bring a few photos and other personal items to decorate the room and make it your own. We have lovely next-to-me cribs, cots and even character toddler beds for your child to use so please no cots or bassinets. You really don't need to bring too much and you can always get in touch if you have any questions, and there is a handy list you can download at the bottom of this page.
Placements usually last for twelve or sixteen weeks although these can sometimes be longer. Your Social Worker and Key Worker will discuss this with you.
If your visitors have been approved by the referring agency, they will be welcome to visit the centre after booking this with your key worker **Subject to Covid-19 policies and guidance. Any unauthorised visitors will be refused entry as it is important that we keep everyone at our centres safe.
To keep all of our families safe we have CCTV in all bedrooms and communal areas.
Your privacy is always respected as much as possible but children must be kept in full view of CCTV cameras at all times.
While you are with us you will be responsible for providing you and you baby with everything you need, food, nappies, clothes etc.
The only thing you will pay us for is the tumble driers! Washing machines, airers and a massive line are available but tumble driers will cost you £1 per load.
If you need to attend court, or other professional meetings, staff will be available to care for your child whilst you attend, there is no additional cost for this service.
Before you join us Please call the centre if there is anything else you are still unsure of or worried about, our team are happy to answer any questions and can arrange a virtual tour! On arrival your Key Worker will give you tour, and there's a handy Welcome Guide already in your room- we will go through this together and you'll have some time to settle in and get used to everyone! There's a handy guide on what to bring below- we have worked with over 70 children and babies so if you forget anything never fear we will probably have it!
