Community Assessments

We have three beautifully furnished  properties within walking distance of our assessment centres, suitable for families who do not require the robust monitoring and support provided by an assessment center, but who are in need of a parenting assessment and continued support.

A qualified and experienced Social Worker is allocated to complete a Parenting Assessment, visiting the family within their own living space. 

Support Workers from our residential assessment centers will be on hand to offer advice and guidance as needed, and would complete weekly visits to the family, assessing home conditions, budgeting, engagement with health services and other professionals. 

These placements have much lower levels of monitoring but families will benefit from ongoing support when they need it. 

The properties do not have internal CCTV, two do have external CCTV for security, which are monitored by our staff within the assessment centers. 

Parents may access the Interventions Program within one of our centers, should they need further support with Healthy Relationships, Domestic Abuse Awareness, Child Development, and building positive bonds and behaviours with their children.
