Who Are We?

Who Do We Support

Who Do We Support

38.6 Solutions began in 2019 with a Residential family Assessment Center on the beautiful North Wales Coast supporting up to three families at a time. In 2022 38.6 opened a second center, suitable for larger families and supporting up to four families at a time.

Both centers are staffed 24/7 with an extensive CCTV system to ensure the highest levels of safeguarding for all our families.

Learning programs

Our program of Interventions has been evolved after working with families from all walks of life, and with a tapestry of their own experiences and histories informing the development of the program.

We offer a structured  timetable so all parents are fully informed and are able to plan their own day in advance. Sessions are delivered based upon the identified needs of the individual ensuring they are inclusive.

Staff are highly experienced, with dedicated intervention workers specializing in topics ranging from Domestic Abuse, Emotional Resilience and Child Development to Stress Management, Positive Relationships and Self Esteem.

Assessments

After The Assessment

After The Assessment

  •  CAF Assessments
  •  Specialist Parenting Assessments for parents with additional needs
  • Safe Carer Assessments

All assessments are evidence based and comprehensive, utilizing in person discussion, observation and our detailed daily logs.

Specialist Assessments are undertaken over a slightly longer period to ensure parents have the opportunity to internalise the learning opportunities offered, and maximise their abilty to effectively engage in the assessment process.

We also offer Post-Assessment Support services, with families remaining until final hearing or for a further period of support to help them regain their independance in a safe, manageable way.

Additionally we have community properties, "move-ons", homes for families who have had a positive assessment but require some on going support and monitoring in a community setting, or who may be at risk returning to their previous address or who are facing homelessness.

We are here to help families through the assessment process and beyond, to give parents the best possible opportunity to meet their childrens needs and build the foundations for a successful future.
