38.6 Support services
A Part of the 38.6 Solutions Ltd family, 38.6 Support Solutions delivers home and community‑based support, monitoring, and assessment for children and parents in Wales and the North-West.
The service is designed to:
- Provide Emergency and responsive support solutions to Local Authorities working with children and families.
- Enable children to remain safe in their own homes.
- Provide safeguarding and supervision where parents are temporarily absent.
- Support and assess parents/expectant parents in their own environment.
- Offer teaching and practical parenting guidance, including for young parents or parents with learning needs.
- Support Local Authorities in creative, short term solutions supporting Looked After Children
- Provide observation and support in Hospital Settings where risk has been identified
- Provide Short Term solutions to accomodation issues for young people and families
-Parenting Assessments completed in families own homes, by qualified and experienced Social Workers.
Community Properties
Our Community Homes have a number of possible functions;
- Continued supported living for families after assessment
- Supported living for expectant parents whilst undertaking pre-birth assessments
- A place of Safety for families
- Short term housing with support
